Viktor Moskalyuk

Viktor Moskalyuk was born on January 19, 1958 in the village of Zaruddya, Dubnovsky district, Rivne region.

A graduate of the Lviv State Higher School of Decorative and Applied Arts named after I. Trusz and the Lviv Academy of Fine Arts.

The Head of the Department of Environmental Design of the National Academy of Fine Arts.

A distinguished Ukrainian art activist. People’s Artist of Ukraine. Winner of the Grand Prix at the International Art Salon in Lyon, France. Currently residing in Lviv, he works as a monumental painter.

Viktor Moskalyuk’s world is a theater where dreams mix with reality.

His characters are more puppets than people, creating vivid images reminiscent of allegory and farce at the same time, systems bathed in color and linear richness.
