About foundation

NOWYCIA Foundation is a centre of Ukrainian culture and history in the Lemko region.

People with passion who are curious about things that are familiar and at the same time unknown meet here.

Nowica, which is a small village in the heart of the Lemko Region, proves that the great world of big culture can cooperate with local crafts and folk music.

The goals of the foundation are:

• supporting and developing culture, art, music, literature, science, including in particular Ukrainian culture in Poland and in the world;
• protection of cultural and heritage assets, including in particular Ukrainian heritage in Poland and in the world;
• supporting the cultural, educational and scientific development of national and ethnic minorities;
• developing contacts and cooperation between societies representing Ukrainian culture;
• supporting the development of communities and local communities;
• promotion and organization of volunteering;
• supporting the integration of foreigners.
