Lidiya Danylchuk

Actress of “Theater in the Basket”, Merited Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the theater award named after Ivan Kotlarewski and the Lviv regional prize named after Borys Romanicki.

She graduated from the Kiev Theater Institute named after I. Karpenko-Kary (today – Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary). She performed on the stage of the Odessa Music and Drama Theater named after Wasyl Wasylka and the Les Kurbas Academic Theater in Lviv.

In 1997, together with Iryna Wolycka, they founded the Creative Studio “Theater in the basket”, which began its existence with the monodrama “White moths, intertwined chains” based on the stories and letters of Wasyl Stefanyk.

The high level of the actress’s workshop, as well as her position in the theater world, is evidenced by numerous awards at prestigious European festivals.

Roman Bil

Honored Artist of Ukraine, actor of the National Drama Theater named after Maria Zankovetska and the Creative Studio “Theatre in a basket” of the National Center for Theater Arts named after Lesia Kurbas in Lviv.

He comes from Kolomyia. He graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk Music School named after D. Siczynski and the Kyiv National I.K. Karpenko-Karyi University of Theatre, Cinema and Television.

Together with Jaroslaw Muka, they formed the duo “Four slides”, whose repertoire includes shooting songs, batiar songs and Ukrainian Galician hits.

They participated in the first all-Ukrainian song festival “Red Ruta” in Chernivtsi.
