On May 27, 2026, the Nowycia Foundation hosted a meeting with Ukrainian studies students from Poland, Slovakia, and Croatia, dedicated to Lemko culture. Michał Markowicz, President of the Foundation, sought to introduce the audience to this culture.

The visit was part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme project entitled “Ukrainians in Poland and Other European Countries. Retrospective and Present.”

The project is implemented by the Department of Ukrainian Studies at the Jagiellonian University Institute of Philology in cooperation with the Universities of Prešov and Zagreb.
