PETRO SYPNYAK
Lives and works in Lviv. He was born in 1959 in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1980-1985 he studied at the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Since 1982 he has participated in art exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, including in Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Italy. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 2002 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine, in 2014 — the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine. His works are in many collections both in Ukraine and abroad.
