Oksana Savitska, a vocalist and bandura player, was born in Lviv. She graduated from the Lviv National Academy of Music and is a solo instrumentalist with the Lviv National Philharmonic.
The artist’s repertoire is incredibly diverse. She performs classical works in Italian, French, German and Spanish, but she most appreciates Ukrainian folk songs, epics, and romances, both ancient and contemporary.
She has performed in Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, and Poland. She has participated in prestigious international competitions (including San Remo in Italy, Llangollen in the UK, and others).
In 1995, she won the title of Laureate of the International Competition of Performers of Folk Instruments.
